hello...

i heard that all mweb uncapped people are being moved back to mweb, now when i bought my uncapped it gave me the login as @mweb.co.za and ive set that up and PPPoE dial ups things on like 8 Pc's and i just want to know if i have to change it now? or does it move me to them autmatically?

the last thing i want to do now is go change all those PC's...

Your post doesn't make any sense. Mweb uncapped people being moved back to Mweb? They never left Mweb, so how can they be moved back?

Your post does not make sense.

Telkom's radius server will authenticate you does not matter which login you use, as long as it is valid.
Am I correct?

PS:
Aren't you talking about International connectivity?
Do you use one account on 8 machines?

You just not in the loop .... A lot of MWEB uncapped users were put onto @mweb.co.za from the normal @dslmweb.co.za. This was because Telkom was taking their sweet time to get MWEB's IPC sorted so there was major congestion on the @dslmweb.co.za, people who did get put onto @mweb.co.za were infact using SAIX (Telkom). Now that the Cape IPC is up, all users are being reverted back to @dslmweb.co.za. For the OP, I doubt it will be automatic, just go change it yourself. I changed my own settings in my routers.

thanks alot, sorry it didnt make alot of sense ;0

Mine has always been on @mweb. Should I change it to the other one?

think you get moved back automatically, when i signed up on the 17th i was given a dot @mweb.co.za account which was on the SAIX backbone. On Tuesday I noticed an increase in shaping and when i did a speetest i noticed that i am now on the MWEB backbone without having changed my account to @dlmweb.co.za, still logged in on the router using @mweb.co.za

no dont - if they gave u @mweb details, keep it that way since ur on the (better) saix network
from what ive seen tho they moved mostly the 384k and 512k users to the saix network as they couldnt do as much damage, while leaving 4mbit ppl on the mweb ipc

I have to say, when I was still using the @mweb.co.za I was eventually back on the mweb IPC, was not going thru telkom any more.

You don't have to change anything, whatever login you use should be valid, and would take you to the MWeb network.

MWeb have already moved (last week in September) almost all the users who were 'temporarily' on the SAIX network onto their IPC.

I have a 7Mbs ADSL2+ line to my exchange, and was enjoying the faster speeds, until I got switched as well...

Ya, no fun. I was on the SaiX network until a few minutes ago, now I am back on the Mweb network, the 8mbps+ was flying on SaiX. I wish I was back on.
