Edit: Sorry, nothing wrong with SEACOM. Seems to be upstream of that, one of the London international service providers.

Not all SEACOM traffic is down, USA seems OK (CogentCo), Europe seems broken (Above.net perhaps).

Some traffic is also going via SAT-3, which is overloaded as usual.

Well same strange behaviour on Afrihost too, so seems IS also effected.

Damn, I sure picked a fine time to make the change from where my modem dials the connection to where my Linksys WRT54G does the connection.

Above.net is reachable by tracert again (BBC etc), so that was likely the problem point...

Been exactly the same for me for the past few days. I thought shaping was for download protocols and http was supposed to be fast.
