Apologies if this has been posted before.

For 3 - 4 months now, at random times during the day the internet will suddenly lose all connectivity. I believe the problem is on MWEB's side.

When I log into our router it shows that there is a connection established, however everything times out. I then connect my 1gb afrihost account and behold everything is perfect again.

This is on MWEB uncapped, and we've had this account since the beginning of 2012 and it was never this bad back then.

Do they have too much load? Is anyone else experiencing this?

Morning stevovo

This is weird as to why you would just lose all connectivity. I would like to look into this from our side and provide you with feedback as I look into it.

Please PM me the MWEB email address or username so that I can do the checks.

Does disconnecting and re-connecting (using the MWEB account) work as well? By switching accounts you might be fixing the issue due to the disconnect / reconnect which would then imply that the problem could also be Telkom. At this point you probably need to investigate both MWEB & Telkom.
