Hey guys, i am seeking some help from the community, mweb need a new mail bomb.
It would be nice if as many clients can complain, but this only actually affects NFS World players, as far as i know at least.
All the NFS Players on mweb i know of have the same problem so i assume you guys playing will also of noticed it. The game updates take extremely long and fail quite often.
Using netlimiter i think i figured out why, last night i tried to do the most recent update, a 70mb update took over 2 hours and according to netlimiter i was downloading at 100% at all times, the problem kicks in with mweb and what appears to be a caching or proxy server.
The updates are being downloaded from 165.165.39.203 instead of 83.138.129.247, the 165 address is in JNB, i suspect thats what is causing all the trouble, especially if it is a caching servers the downloads always seem to fail around 50%.
If all you mweb clients can log complaints about this it would be appreciated, would help get the problem solved faster, i will also be hitting up a few other forums and Hellopeter to get as many users on board.
Its quite ridiculous that a legal game should give such trouble, if they worried about BW usage would it not make more sense for me to not have to download double the actual size of the patch, hell with last weeks 70mb update it took a good few hours and almost 600mb in cap
