Hi guys,

About a week ago I applied for the mweb all inclusive uncapped. A few days later I received an SMS from mweb saying that telkom has received the order for my dsl line.

Now I get an sms saying:
MWEB ADSL: Your order for *****@mweb.co.za is complete. Please run the setup CD and use ***** as Telkom Order no. when prompted

Thing is I have no such setup CD. Can someone maybe elaborate on what this message is referring to and what the setup CD would possibly be.

It seems this SMS was sent in error, it is meant for signups which include the modem. You can contact 0860112252 for assistance with your setup.

Gee that was quick, i called mweb yesterday saking to upgrade from 384 uncapped to 4meg uncapped but all inclusive. I was told because i am with telkom i need to change line speed with them first then , ask mweb to up my line from 384 to 4meg and migrate me. This whole process the consultant tells me will take a month. So i am off to telkom direct tommorrow to get line speed changed, then when that is done give mweb a call again. seems really lenghthy if you ask me.
