MWEB prices look ridiculous!!!

Look at M-Webs client base with regards to age. the majority of Mwebs clients are between 35 - 60 - these are people who don't really use the internet for more that email. while Axxess and the like are between 21 - 35, they are the ones that will read forums like this, gaming sites like nag etc. and will see the adverts.

(no offense to above 35, and by no means am implying that they are misinformed :D )

Totally understand, if a service provider gives you crap service ... vote with your wallet & go somewhere else. They all stuff up some time, the good ones tho can keep most of their users happy most of the time.

From the user satisfaction surveys I've seen (e.g. PCFormat) joe public usually gives their vote to mweb. They have their place in the market, tho certainly not in these forums.

Also image if just 20% of their base woke up one morning & decided they wanted 30gig caps. How well would the current providers be able to cope with that load from a service & support point of view?

No offense taken, except your facts are wrong.

You average netizen is around 40 years old ... :D
Oh yeah - and females apparently outnumber males. 52% of web users are female.

Also age doesn't have much to do with this - the fact that their are 40 year olds who grew up with computers will attest to that.

There are 15 year olds not interested at all in computers or the internet and 60 year olds who are very interested.

From the magazines you mention the only one worth taking a shot at is Huis Genoot, the other won't go for it imo. Huis Genoot & You have high circulation and if you can convince them to publish an article you would reach a huge amount of people. Problem is they will be hard to convince.

No way. Naspers produce these magazines. Naspers owns Media24. MWEB is a subsidiary of Media24.

Age

Since average age is mentioned a lot here, I think that it would be very intersting to see a graph giving the spread of the ages of myadsl users. How abour it RPM. Or if you could give me the file containing only the birthdates of myadsl members(No other details please), I could prepare a graph showing the spread. Or to include guests, a poll could be set up, please?!
