Good day,

I am new to the uncapped packages of our country so please forgive my ignorance.

I have had my 384kbs telkom line with my uncapped shaped account from mweb for about 2 weeks now.

I am very frustrated at the moment as i cannot seem to do much on the internet at all.
I do understand that torrents and the likes are most def shaped. FINE.

But i am complaining as i am having very bad speeds with normal web browsing as well as normal non p2p downloads.

If this is normal then i would like to know what other options are out there, Openweb maybe?

Is this all they can say, why not the network are screwed after the upgrade and don't know how to fix the problem soon...
 
It has been very crap, does anybody actually know why it is so bad.

Other than MWEB operations pretending they looking into it, has anyone got a real answer why its such a crap service.
 
Change ISPs.
While they still have your debit order going through, what does it matter if the service performs or not?
 
I have noticed some DNS issues this weekend (DNS server not resolving domain names) but my download speeds are fine.
I've transferred over 5GiB this weekend already (yesterday and today) on MWeb 384K uncapped so no complaints from my side.
 
i will give it till wed, because i'm stupid, but if its still like this then good bye MWEB, enough is enough.
I mean, p2p, i suppose throttle me, i expected as much from a so called 'uncapped' package but i am getting very upset with the fact that i have to refresh a normal plain non flash web page like 3 or 4 times before it eventually loads if it loads.

It has been a very slow painful 3 weeks with MWEB.
 
how do i log into my account on the mweb website, so that i can see my account and also send e-mails? It keeps on asking to register my email address, but if register my one i got from mweb, it is a catch 22 because i need the email to be albe to read the email sent. so i cant activate it.
