Wow, golly gosh mister Mwebs, sure is doggone nice of ya to give me what I paid for. And gave you free publicity for on these forums before. Never mind torrents, Youtube has been slow as molasses on a winter morning this last week.

I'm out. Openweb just got a new customer.
 
Torrents @ ~15KB/s. Browsing horrendously slow... Been like this for several days. :/

Also on premium... "Unthrottled".
 
Nope... doesn't make a difference... loaded it up, it split the 15KB/s in half.

Now it seems the speed has improved.... to 30KB/s. Yay. o.o
 
Do you play WoW? I thought I was getting poor speeds but I found the client was downloading in the background.

cash2030 is a legit user, albeit quiet. He's racked up 37 posts in his two years on Carbonite :)

Nope. I actually formatted my computer a few days ago. Only game I have on here is Dota 2 (steam wasn't running when downloading from torrents).
Nothing else was chewing bandwidth, have Netlimiter installed and checked.
 
lol yeah i am quite, not all that active due to work demands, but wherever theres time im on there....but anyway i see my torrents moved up abit last night, i managed to get 400mb downloaded lol..on a 4meg mind you:wtf:
 
i realize torrents are shaped n given lowest priority, but i mean sooo bad? even during the night? but clearly its not just me....can any body give me an idea how torrents are with other isp's?

When I have to use torrents they generally go between 400 and 600 kb/s. Obviously it is dependent on seeders etc but my torrents fly.

I'm on a 10mb non-business uncapped account with Afrihost.
