Hi all, I just upgrade to ADSL with mweb.

They gave me a BILLION 7401VGP router, first of all the CD doesn't work and it seems that you can only choose between 3 diffrent ISPs; mweb, telkom and tiscally. I would like to get hold of the drivers for the router and then find a way to connect to other ISPs eg. b2e

plz help

Maybe check Billion's website for firmware and update it... It should be the standard retail billion then. Good luck.

This could possibly "brick" the router. So, I won't suggest it ;)

That router, as mentioned in other threads, is network locked, so I don't see how you are going to unlock it.

Ja I tried that but it does not accept the firmware upgrade, its says it does not match the current, mweb must of rigged it somehow

Haha, its not my fault mweb do everything so smart, I'll continue to try and hack the stupid thing...

Can someone then give me a place for cheap routers which can bridge connections?

Billion 5102. I wanted to use my friends line because he has a 4MB but I couldn't change the details. There's no way around it, I've tried.

PS: Crap band :P
