Mweb scam ?

So recently Mweb phone us up and offer us this 'new' deal for faster speeds and paying less... which all we had to do was change our line from Telkom to Mweb, inviting as this was we took the bait.
Within the week of 'upgrading' the internet speeds have been so ridiculously slow, can barely even browse and streaming of any sort is out of the question.
Its been almost a month now and no change... its just gotten worse!
http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3662000400 is the recent speedtest (on the 4mb uncapped from mweb).
Been on 4mb uncapped with mweb for as long as i can remember, never had any sort of problem like this, then they offer this 'upgrade' that has rendered the internet completely useless!
Any1 else had a similar issue with upgrading ? What the hell is wrong with these speeds...
Am i just meant to cancel with Mweb and move to another ISP ? can't take this useless service!!

Please allow me the opportunity to look into what could be causing the slow speed. In order for me to do this, PM me the MWEB username and I will provide you with more feedback.

Not Sure, all they said is we will be getting faster speeds if we change our line to Mweb and take this package which will cost us less. Can't remember what we were paying before, but now we are paying 449 including line.

Pretty much ^^ all i wanna do is patch wildstar... but i can't : / downloading @ 10000bytes/sec lol ! and I already used my phone to patch it 2 weeks ago so that is already capped :(
ISPs are such a scam in this country, 80mb PROPER UNCAPPED fibre lines basically everywhere else in the world for an equivalent of R400 a month... all we have is fake uncapped, terrible service and still getting charged over R2/gig

In the first case its trite that MWEB (Hershaw) are the masters of CAPPED / UNCAPPED.

Speeding their subscribers lines means they get capped sooner ......


As for the second part - should you cancel - YES!!
There is life after MWEB.

I was blindly loyal to MWEB but after their little unilateral policy change I moved on and am quite happy with my new ISP.

This is why I stayed with capped(bigger cap than before, but diff ISP)
I don't want them to tell me that I have been a naughty kidy, who gets rapped on the knuckles for "using to much"

I would suggest giving back their router, cancelling this deal or taking a higher quality/priced package.
Alternatively move everything to another ISP.

considering it is a new month.... I can only assume that your cap/usage is reset. Hopefully you can now DL the update.
If you cancel with them now they will probably tell you that you may only cancel on the 1st of a month, meaning 1 Sept....
 
ZZZZZZZ can't even play dota on local servers... lags and has like 20%+- packet loss... Terrible service after switching lines : /

You learn from your mistakes....MWEB used to be the ISP of choice. No longer so....ditch them ASAP.
