So, it took me 2 hours or so to download a roughly 12 megabyte file the other night (about 11:00 PM to 1:00 AM) from Filefront.com.

Am I being unreasonable in thinking this is a bit ridiculous. I understand this is a shaped product (384 uncapped) but I didn't know 'shaped' equates to sub 1992 modem speeds.

I contacted MWEB this morning, still waiting for my assured call back as soon as possible, but I am wondering what the point is actually.

I guess I am wondering if I should fuss or just accept the service for what it is?

*sigh*

Very strange, as this is about the 1000 post the last couple of weeks about slow speeds on MWEB.
I am getting normal speeds and even on ports that are shaped during the day I get ok speeds.
So no complaints from me...

I have spoken to Mweb technical.

There is no problem with the network.. this is how its gonna be from now on...

weekday p2p daytime traffic is virtually non-existent. Uploading and Downloading files is similarly shaped down completely. Weekend surfing and downloading is great. So we getting ripped.
