I've never had problems with spam with MWEB, have been with them for years and even used to make a point of recommending them to other people looking for a decent ISP, because their spam filters were so exceptional.

But in the past three or so weeks, the vast majority of emails arriving at our work address have been spam, pretty much all following a similar pattern. I've been working with MWEB's mail abuse section, sending them headers, and they've been taking action, but whoever the spammers are, they seem to just move from one place to the next - this morning, for example, all the spam coming in is from aol.com addresses.

Anyone else been having this problem of late?

Hi Durandal

I think the sad truth is that spam is on the rise globally and spammers are always coming up with new techniques to bypass the filters. We are constantly working on tightening up on our spam filters, without compromising on allowing legitimate emails to reach our clients mailboxes. Please PM me your account details and I'll chat to the abuse team in the morning and see if we can find out what's causing the current run of spam you're getting.

You probably gave your email to some shady site that sold it out to spammers.

Same here, iafrica email address.

The emails are being labeled as Spam by Mweb but are still being pushed through.
