MWEB-TELKOM upgrade line speed??

Hi there Mweb guys

And what is Mweb plans going to be with this line upgrade from Telkom? Must I apply to have the 2 meg line or what by Mweb? Currently have 1 meg uncapped by Mweb, and line rental from Telkom?

A forum search would have answered your question. But I'll repeat since you couldn't find the button.

Once Telkom upgrades your line to 2meg you'll have to ask MWEB to upgrade your account to 2meg.

As mentioned by Qwikslver, once the upgrades are completed by Telkom, you will need to request for your package to be upgraded to the 2Mb package.

We don't know which exchanges Telkom are doing first, therefore we ask our customer to request for the upgrade.

Hi Mweb guys

When I called Mweb customer care to question my monthly charge at the end of July, they had already upgraded my account to the 2MB line with the costing for that account, without asking me.....

The reason given was because I have a 1MB account, I was upgraded to 2MB!

Isn't this wrong then as I did not give my permission for them to do so??? So I have effectively paid for an account that I don't even have yet!

Maybe this should be checked as you giving a different bit of info to what they actually doing.

Hello Mweb people I have a problem.

We have a 384 line and is upgraded to 1024 line.
We have phone telkom and it has been confirmed that it has been upgraded but it is not
downloading at the required rate.

Our router is synching at 384.

Please tell what I must do.
 
^ Try restarting your router, or power it down for atleast half an hour before checking again.
