MWEB threshold on FIBRE

Switch ISP's. AND LISTEN stay away from all the ADSL Fibre Providers, Stay away from Vodacom and MTN.

If there is a threshold on your fibre package, not matter how big or small, stay away.

If they shape your fibre, stay away

If they offer a capped package, stay away.

Learn now, listen and move.

So basically the product you are describing being offered on Openserve is like R2000 + for 100Mbps. Uhm not always possible.

Then go for a lower package, even the lower package will be better than anything they offer.

And I believe anybody will charge about R2k on openserve for 100meg connection.

Uhm no a 100Mbps Openserve fibre line and uncapped data is around R1250 to R1499.

At that range you just need to look which provider has the best FUP. Vodacom clearly states they have a 2.2tb fair use policy after that the connection gets limited to 2Mbps.

Now that is a decent amount of data and if you get slowed to 2Mbps with Vodacom and use Openserve fibre buy a capped account to offset the months you hit that fair use limit.

If you want true unshaped and uncapped you looking at no less than R2000 a month.

and 90% of people who went with people with FUP come back and complain about shaping, throttling, slow speeds etc.
