Hi all and happy 2014

I am currently on Mwebs 1mb/s R339/m. Am looking to move to the 2mb/s or 4mb/s standard. After how much data does Mweb start to throttle on these standard packages.

I think the on the 1mb/s premium the limit is 100Gb after which it is throttled.

Thanks
Chrisn

The threshold for the 2Mb standard uncapped is around 70Gb and the threshold for the standard 4mb uncapped is around 110Gb

Do they warn you before you get throttled?

So for R110 more a month I will be getting better speed but approximately the same data threshold before throttling. The problem is the higher the speed the more you want to download.

Does it make sense to upgrade then. Feels like the 2mb/s deal is even crappier deal

We have a 6Mb package as well with the threshold in the region of 150GB in the 30 day rolling window period.
