Is Mweb blocking torrents? I cannot even get onto the bittorent website?

@Fossil12... Mweb international is dead for torrents, Seacom is down and could take 2 weeks to fix. Seacom is MWEB's main line to international.

To the others... shame, he's a noob. possibly does not know what Seacom is.

MWEB ISP Derek Hershaw said that the ISP has capacity on the WACS cable, but with Seacom completely down, this only covers about 45% of the total requirement.

I have the same problem so and this was happening since thursday or friday so I started download direct download and guess what it takes more time to load the new link to download but at the downloading goes a little faster

Also, blocking torrents is not allowed since a torrent is just different system of downloading a file, the illegal files that are being processed through Bittorrent are illegal not bittorrent itself.

I think I saw several guy's mentioning that they can dl torrents at full speed, but can hardly do anything else.
That is weird though.
