Work's Quite well, register they send you temporary account details.
Pop it into the router and you can "Try Before You Buy" :D

:whistle:Now if only I could afford the 4mb Telkom Line ...
 
I signed up for an mweb trial in december .. only the trial mind u, they started billing at ~ double the rates (2mb uncapped) at R700/month, I submitted an request to fix it. The reference request (number = 12000795) was escalated but still no response from mweb - its been weeks - I've tried the regular route - mweb rep - could you help please?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

I checked the account and can see you signed up for the uncapped unshaped account. We don't have any trial accounts for the uncapped unshaped packages, only on the shaped uncapped packages.

Did you call in regarding the trial account you referring to or did you do it online?

I signed up online in december - but I'm certain I clicked on a trial link - Please can you check even the usage - and last login.. over R700/mon is crazy - and i actually went for a 1 mb uncapped unshaped - I don't know where the amount of R700/month came from.
 
The unshaped uncapped 1Mb package is R759 p/m. This is for the unshaped package, not the shaped package. Unshaped packages are priced higher than shaped packages.

The account has since been terminated from what I can see on the account.

Mweb has again debited my account - I haven't even used the account past the trial: Thats R759 x5 .. more than that I've never received 1 bill- please assist this is a lot of money - i cannot afford this.
I don't know how to stop it as I've already requested it and all they'ce done is escalate - but no action.
 
I've done the trial and the ADSL line quality is good but the MWeb service runs just over 50% speed. I've called in twice and obviously tech support are adequate their service is perfect and the problem is with the Telkom line, but the line quality looks good and Telkom has reset the node etc.
