Again, this has not been resolved in over a year now.

Can someone please get me into contact with someone who can help me to get my battle.net connection stable and able to download games and patches?

I am now again trying to install StarCraft2 and it is happily struggling along at 5KB/s on a 4Mb uncapped line.

Before Afrihost moved over to MTN I could get a few GB from them and do what needed to be done, but now even they have tanked.
:(

MWEB actually hosts Akamai CDN on their local network, you shouldn't be getting those speeds (and I don't get those speeds at all, it's full speed all the way for me. Check that you don't have PeerBlock or something similar installed as last time it went that slow for me it was PeerBlock blocking connections from Blizzard in an attempt to "hide" my torrent activities.

I'm on Linux and have nothing blocking any ports. In a last ditch effort I'm going to get a new router and try again to see if it might be router related, which I doubt, all ports that need to be open is open.

Before Afrihost swithced over to the MTN network I got full speed with them as well, but now it is a struggle to do anything download related on Battle.net. Playing the game is no problem, it is just downloading that doesn't seem to want to work.
