I can only connect to mybb and facebook.

Buy some B/w from G-Connect - about R37/GB when buying in lots of 1GB, R30/GB if buying 5 at once. Or get some Nexus for R59/GB (this one lasts for many months so you can use as backup next time SEACOM crashes).

Tanya35 gave me a solution--change the login details in router by removing the "dsl" from #######@DSLmweb...; reboot the router and check again.
Mine is actually flying using these settings.

Can you put your router in Bridge mode and then create a PPOE connection with those settings?

I doubt it. To do that you'd have to enter into a new agreement with MWEB. As is, MWEB is not providing connectivity and for some reason removing "DSL" works - but you're still using the same password and username (part before the @ sign).

I'm not trying to pump anything. I have a 5GB cap, for which I paid R579pm, and I want to do some basic stuff...
