Mweb vs SAIX usage stats

Checking ADSL usage of an Mweb ADSL user on Mweb's tacky system compared to SAIX and there is big differences between them. Days differ (for instance MWeb says Saturday almost 3Gb was done while SAIX says about 500Mb) and totals differ.

Any ideas?

yup mweb is a load of rubbish what your paying 329 for 3 gigs

when you could be paying 379 for 10 makes perfect sense to me

50 rand for an extra 7 gigs

The MWeb usage records are sent to MWeb by SAIX. MWeb doesn't keep track of the usage itself. Why they would differ, I have no idea.

Have you spoken to someone at Mweb/Saix about it?

Honestly doesn't phase me enough to sit through the support desk ramblings of either company. At the end of the day both show the client is over the cap and his speeds are slow because of it, which is the main thing I need from it.
