So the story goes, I have 5gb 384kbps account with mweb and its down right SLOW. So I have been looking at getting the 15gb with 4meg line with mweb for my place @ R549. Anyone have thoughts or suggestions? BTW. what the exchanges like in Blairgowrie?

Thanks in advance:D

Mweb the best and most stable network in the country!
I have been on Openweb (Altech, IS, Vodacom Business & BCSnet), WebAfrica, SAIX.

Mweb has always just worked for me.....

Ok torrents can be on the slow side, but at least Youtube never buffers,

Took you long to realise it's slow huh?

NO I knew it was slow just couldn't afford to upgrade untill now:whistle:

The OP says different. (Sigh! - another Mweb brand advocate).

The OP has his experience, I have mine. Mine has been good. His, not so.

Since when does sharing one's experience with a product on a public forum, when a guy is asking specifically for just that, amount to being that products' "brand advocate"?

Since you ask - it's when your experience differs considerably from the norm.

Fair enough. I'm glad I'm not the norm then, 'cos mweb's been nothing but a pleasure for me.

Good morning Atheist, please let me know should you require any assistance with your upgrade or troubleshooting your current connection.

Kind regards, MWEB Guy

Just stay away from the cheapskate entry level uncapped accounts and mweb is great.

Do yourself a favour and get a test account, if it perform to your expectations then you know where you stand. There is a allot of factors to mitigate the inconsistencies amongst users. I myself dont have any problems and also tested the account before signed up.

The OP is on 384, which is slow! He never said Mweb is slow.

Dude 15gig aint gonna last long on that speed I can promise you that!

I have a 1Mb account with Mweb and only have good things to say....never throttled and continually downloading at full speed......runs beautifully!! Have been very impressed with their service thus far and I have tried many other isp's over the past few years.

It must be a capped account because Mweb is shaped and will not run at full speed most of the time.

And mweb will continue to upgrade links now and in future which is something to consider..
