MXit and data SIM.

Does MXit use data or airtime?
I have a contract data sim with no airtime. Can I use it in my phone to use MXit with data? Or will I be billed out of bundle?
Also what about OPERAMINI?

Any app that connects to the internet via GPRS/3G eats data from your data bundle and if you do not have one loaded it'll start eating from your airtime. If you are on a contract, it'll just show up as out of bundle usage at the end of the month on your statement/bill. Mixit/OperaMini/etc ... they all work the same way.

So, if my contract SIM HAS a bundle on and no airtime and I use MXit or OperaMini, I will be charged out of bundle?

That is a ripoff as my prepaid sim uses my loaded MB's and my contract SIM does not.

If you have a bundle, it will use your bundle.
