Mxit BB Curve 8900 MTN

I downloaded MXIT 5.9 on BB Curve 8900 (MTN), however when running I get a message "Connection failure. Please select 'Help' for more information [Error code 401]" When I go into help it takes me through the entire set-up of selecting a country, change my phone, and then giving me the MTN settings. Which I have now done 3 times...

I have BISBES - both activated
Default browser config set as Internet Browser (for BIS)
Default WAP browser config set as MTN
APN settings Enabled
APN: myMTN
APN Authentication Enabled also ticked, however with no Username and Password for APN - should this be entered?

try changing your apn to blackberry.net bud maybe that will solve the problem. And untick the APN Authentication

I did everything, took battery out...still the same problem. Any other suggestions?

PS. Could it be that with the BES activation that restrictions have been applied based on the IT policy?
What restrictions would cause this Error?

yes, mxit 5.8.
i've tried 5.9 on my curve about 100 times, and either it never connects, or works for 10min then hangs the entire phone, or you switch-out and when you switch-back to mxit its just a blank screen and again, hangs entire phone. Or it disconnects every 2mins was the last problem i had before going back to 5.8

Have any tried downloading 5.9.1 ? Works 100s for me.
