Mxit on BB Bold

Hi guys.
I have just got a BB Bold 9000.
I went to http://www.mxit.com/wap and downloaded the latest version on my phone. Everything installs and works 100% except that I cannot type anything. As I type, I cannot see anything being typed but the spelling assist pops up. When I send this message (that I cannot see), it sends as a blank.
PS. I CAN see the comments from other ppl but mine is just blank and they see it as such also!
Can anybody help?

Some of the MXiT themes are the same colour as the font. Try change themes or font colour & see what happens. Maybe they can't see the writing cos they have the same colour theme / skin.
