Mxit phone for gf

Hi,

My gf is using my trusty old Samsung D500 at the moment, still going strong even after a swim in the bath! lol. The problem is that it doesnt support the newer versions of Mxit and it seems that you cant set predictive text in Mxit as well. So I am looking for a phone for her now, but not too sure what to get. The guidelines are: Has to support Mxit, has to be compact, has to be decent looking, has to be preferably sub-R1200 in price.

What can I get her?

Take a look at the LG KS360

Make sure whether the phone comes with an extra 1Gb memory card or not, I had to buy it extra

Ill suggest the Nokia 6300 or Nokia 5000.
They Mxit friendly, SE are the best phones for Mxit.

those phones are all a little too expensive, other than the 5000. The budget is R1200

For Mxit, i'd say definately the LG KS360.

you can get one free from voda on one of those pre-paid top-up contracts. The R135.00 a month one.
