Hi guys my Mvix does not see my Western Digital 250 gig hard drive any ideas?

Mvix does not work with Western Digital at all... they should have told you that when you bought it. Use a Seagate if you can. I have a 500 Mb Seagate in mine... works great.

no problems with response time... kids use it all day almost every day. Quality is great! you can also load audio (books or music) and stream it around the house via the built in FM radio transmitter.

Guys I must just tell you the support offered by Sanji who are the agents here , is amazing.
Isent an e mail and got the reply last night, I e mailed again and again and got the rplies shortly after.
The MD took time to help me late at night.

the cheapest one is from digital planet, i bought mine from thier and it was deliver quite quickly but since then i havnt had the best service.

500 gigs are great - but no longer in stock.

Possibly a shortage of ide drives....

apparently the newest models work with IDE and SATA. Wish I had one of those.... my 500 Gigs is already full... and I had to take a ton of stuff off of it already... it only has movies and episodes on it now.

It takes two minutes to swap out the Mvix drive - why not just buy another 500 gig hard drive.

um... cos I have two Terabytes in my computer with dual 19 inch LCD screens, the two kids computers have 600 Gigs between the two of them... the wife's computer has another 600 or so... the laptop has 160... the other removable hard drives total around 400 Gigs... and the PVR has 80 gigs.... I think I am ok with space (for this month).
