This is a short and sweet thread.

- Plugged my new SG 3TB hard drive in. (Not a OS Drive)
- Didnt show up in Windows/My PC.
- Showed up in windows disk management as unallocated.
- It asked for MBR or GPT, I chose GTP and formatted it to NTFS
- Still didnt show in Windows, but it is now allocated at 2.7TB.
- It shows in the bios as 3TB

Any suggestions?

EDIT: I fixed the problem...

When I formatted it, it assigned the letter to \:I , I changed it to J and now it shows up....strange...

Oh right, I thought you had an issue with size :p Didn't see you didn't assign the drive letter.

Common problem: some USB drives don't show automatically when plugged in.

(I have the same problem in Windows 7).

The only workaround is to use Disk Manager to assign a drive letter.

It wasnt a USB drive, its a normal SATA internal drive.
