So I've had no internet the whole day on my adsl line. This time, however, I have absolutely no idea what's causing it. When accessing my router, I can see that my line attenuation and SNR margins are fine, my line is syncing at normal speed, and the status shows as connected. Usually, when there's congestion on my exchange (which only happens some nights, and never during the day), my SNR margins will drop, and connectivity will become intermittent.

Seeing as though my line is syncing fine, with decent SNR margins and line attenuation, I would think that the problem isn't the line, but rather with the isp. However, I have both Mweb and Openweb accounts and neither are working. Perhaps the problem is with the modem? Nope, have two of those and again, neither are working. Maybe it's the pc? Nope, tried it on different devices. Maybe it's the wireless router? Nope, tried using it with an rj-45 too.

I'm really stumped on what's going on here as my modem shows that everything is fine. I'm not dropping the connection at all. But multiple isp accounts, multiple modems, multiple devices.. Surely then it must have something to do with my line? If that is the case, wouldn't my connection, SNR margins, and line attenuation keep dropping?

btw, a tracert simply times out. Any ideas?

Am left using a 3G card...

Have you paid your bill ? That is what happens when you don't pay your bill, among other things I guess
