My Afrihost Account.

I have an Afrihost 1gig account which I have never used and I want to use it now. The problem is I don't know where the information is that you put in your modem. I am on the website and don't know where to find that info.

I am with telkom and it looks like we wont make it to month end with our gigs so want to try the Afrihost account.

Am I correct in thinking I must access my modem and where my telkom account details are I change that to the Afrihost details?

yes you change those details from the telkom ones to the afrihost ones.

it will be a username and a password.

you should have received an email when you activated the account, check your email first.

Yes, Wayne. You need to access your modem & add the details via that interface where the telkom details are.

You should have an email with the login or password. If you can't find it give AH a call & ask them to forward via email...

If you log into your clientzone "http://clientzone.afrihost.com/", click on "My Bandwidth" on the left, then the "My Connectivity" tab on the right. You will see each ADSL package you have listed (in this case one package I assume). There is a set of buttons inside the package info, click the first one (called "Access Details").

Those are what you enter into your modem.
