Its losing storage space like hectic! App World stated I had 3.3MB free, dropped down to 1.4 now its 1.1. I haven't installed anything, nor do I use the phones storage for files (SD card). What makes matters even weirder, I don't have that many apps installed (5 max, all less than 2MB) so I don't know what's going on

Its making my phone very slow and some apps are refusing to work at all (that could be a separate issue). My browser is bombed out, so I'm using Opera Mini which I don't like very much on the BB, but I'm slowly getting used to it. I'm on OS 6, version .448 (the Vodacom one)

Anyone had this problem or seen it before?

EDIT: And now I'm back to 3.5MB... Slowly dropping though.

OS6 is the problem. It has a memory leak. I also have the same problem but nt as extreme as yours. The first leaked version was as bad and so I went back to OS5. When the official version came out I installed it and noticed a slight improvement. There are still days when I get frustrated and feel like going back to OS5.

Thanks, didn't know .600 was out! As frustrating as OS6 can be, I don't think I could give it up and go back to OS5... So I'll live with it :p

is .600 out on Vodacom? I have .546 installed on my phone...the memory leak is quite severe!

how do u load the update OS ? backup current info and then just run the .exe file ?

tnx

Wow, so I've traded memory leak problem for overall problems with .600. Worth it though. Now, sometimes, when I hold the BB key, that screen wont go away and only a reboot will fix it. Oh well...

lol

and here i was going to install .600

Its a huge step up from .448 believe me. Worth it.

After using .600 i personally prefer 448 as:

1.it give same battery life and
2. less "hanging / hour glass icon" when working on phone.

when the official update for .600 is launched im sure it will be 99% bug free and more stable.
