Hi Guys

So recently I installed, Gears of War, Assassins Creed, NFS Pro Street, Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and The Club.
and I noticed something that I really don't like.
only in Assassins Creed are you able to create profiles. you can do it in NFS Pro Street but to create another you have to delete the existing one, so there's no point.
WTF is up with this hax?
DO NOT WANT!

I mean i have friends who don't have PCs or have weak pcs. So they normally create profiles on my PC and everybody play their own profile.
But now, shame they got no more hope.
isn't there maybe a patch or mod or something that can allow profiles?

On NFS Pro Street i have more than one profile. Perhaps its as a result of the crack, found it at GCW, this is a great place to find all sorts. I just hope it's not because I effectively created a new career for everyone else. I actually have two careers, one with all the cars :D and another for the noob in me

I'll try a different crack for NFS Pro Street then. GCW, GBW, same thing. i use GBW.
anyways, so thats kinda sorted. anybody got any tips on the other games. or maybe know of other games that do this aswell?

Dr@g0nic maybe you must give you buddies Window Logon User ID's - then they can create thier own profiles and you can be sure they don't delete/save over your profile

lol thats something new(which i didn't even think about:P)... and will be quite a bit of a hassle... but, i think if all else fails, i'll have to go with that option. thanks

I suppose it is the way Microsoft and DirectX10 are moving to, with Vista. Profiles according to User Logged on.

All new games' Savegames are stored in your My Documents Folder, and Remember each User has their own (And differnet) My Docu's Folder.

But I suppose task switching can be a schlep...

Well it sucks....
but what about rainbow six? thats got nothing to do with MS. or am i wrong?
The Club and GOW looks like straight ports from 360(which totaly sucks, coz in menu they show navgation options with A, B, Y, X, LT, RT, WTF! IM USING KEYBOARD+MOUSE IDIOTS!).

Jeh I agree Dr@g0nic. Game developers these days are knobs. They make games with OK graphics and crappy gameplay (gets boring quickly) I remember times on my good old XT and 286 playing 'starquake' 'prince of persia' , 'streetrod' etc which kept me busy longer than todays games. There is a few exceptions though - Rainbow six vegas being one of them - best FPS to date according to me :-)

And then there's the porting and OpenGL issues,.fued for another day.

Cheers
