My computer screen isn't booting

I recently installed hyper x ram into my m5a97 le r2.0 motherboard. When I turned it on, my screen didn't show anything. I tried a new cord for my monitor if it was the problem but it wasn't. I also tried a new monitor.

Well my first guess would have been the memory.

I'm plugged in to the graphics card.

Try removing the ram, remove any signs of dust and reinsert. Pc won't boot if dust on ram either .

My screen doesn't boot either. If I push the button it's instantly on. Like magic.

On a side note, if your pc is not booting, do what they suggested above.
