Below are my interactions with Afrihost and even as we speak.

1 Sent WhatsApp and was told to reset with router in the first response with no fault finding questions asked. And so on and so on. Until a Telkom callout was logged.
2 Luckily a day later I try again by calling this time and this time the guy gets it and changes the call details for t=Telkom.
3 Two days later I get a call, now this is my frustration, at least one of them, from a Technician telling me he is standing outside ready to fix my router. He is in fact at my second address. Yes I have 2 address under my account with Afrihost. No lead time nothing, no one phones to ask if I'm going to be home?
4 Day later Telkom arrives at the right address and boom unfortunately router is broken.
5 Call Afrihost and they will replace for free hallelujah!!
6 Gets call from Afrihost to ask what went wrong with the router.
7 Go to twitter and ask where my router is.
8 Get a call to the wrong phone number and address again to deliver the router.
9 Since this morning I have gone onto twitter, emailed Afrihost support and called ConvergEX SEVERAL time, tweeted several times, in an attempt to get router delivered to the right address and get someone to call the right phone number for a change.

Maybe I should just pop out after work and buy my own ****ing router. It would be cheaper than dropping another R500 bucks on mobile data.

I feel your pain. Well, my wife does. Some wally at Afrihost decided to delete their web database. The one my wifes company uses - for clients and members.

Over 48 hours later & Afrihost have still not managed to restore the backups to working status.

Effing useless twatwaffles IMHO. So glad I left them ages ago, which was when a hosting server went down & it took Afrihost 5 DAYS to acknowledge the problem...... I'd ported to domains.co.za by day 3............

Are you using another SP for fibre perhaps. Im looking to move to Cool Ideas or maybe someone else.

Using Webafrica for fibre ISP. But about to move - I have a support ticket with them regarding data use that is now 21 days old & zero replies................ other than a bot closing the ticket & then reopening it when I had a fit.

They've obviously been taking lessons in support and customer service from Afrihost!

They are also hosting a web page for a friend of mine who has had a few problems. I don't understand how hosting works but ahe has been frustrated a couple of times.

FK me. Asking for a password to get into the router that eventual arrived gets me 3 different answers. Lol.
What's up Afrihost? If you can't get my address right after Twitter, a call, several emails and WhatsApp please I think I should just give up.
