Below are my interactions with Afrihost and even as we speak.
Sent WhatsApp and was told to reset with router in the first response with no fault finding questions asked. And so on and so on. Until a Telkom callout was logged.
Luckily a day later I try again by calling this time and this time the guy gets it and changes the call details for t=Telkom.
Two days later I get a call, now this is my frustration, at least one of them, from a Technician telling me he is standing outside ready to fix my router. He is in fact at my second address. Yes I have 2 address under my account with Afrihost. No lead time nothing, no one phones to ask if I'm going to be home?
Day later Telkom arrives at the right address and boom unfortunately router is broken.
Call Afrihost and they will replace for free hallelujah!!
Gets call from Afrihost to ask what went wrong with the router.
Go to twitter and ask where my router is.
Get a call to the wrong phone number and address again to deliver the router.
Since this morning I have gone onto twitter, emailed Afrihost support and called ConvergEX SEVERAL time, tweeted several times, in an attempt to get router delivered to the right address and get someone to call the right phone number for a change.
Maybe I should just pop out after work and buy my own ****ing router. It would be cheaper than dropping another R500 bucks on mobile data.
