Hi there.

Because of wear and tear and children, the control for TV 2 in our room needed to be replaced. So I went to Checkers and bought one from the shelf. Very enthusiastically I unpacked it to test. Nothing.
I tried all the different settings with the shift-Info for TV 1 and shift-exit for TV 2 and nothing helped. It seems like my A4 remote control does not talk to my decoder. This control does not have the dial on which you choose different channels as with the old A3 control.

Does anyone here have a solution for me. I spent about R169.00 for and and don't want to just throw it away.

Thank you,
Deon

is this the new hd pvr or old sd pvr?

Is it an Ellies product? If so, call them tomorrow. I suspect you bought the incorrect one.
