My first month with Vitality Uncapped.

Is the experience still the same currently? I.e "unshaped" from 8pm - 8am? This sounds very interesting.
Haven't been downloading too much the last week, but currently plowing along at 380KB/s Iphone update and I clapped a 5gb from NZB earlier in the morning. Will check what is the day time speed during the week and will let you know.

Ok it is 7:20am and it is downloads at 198KB/s

Ignore that, I see that Telkom has me syncing at 2.0mb WTF!!!!

@Grubscrew, how is the signing up process? Is it relatively easy?

Please run: http://broadband.mpi-sws.org/transparency/bttest-mlab.php and test http & flash and provide feedback...

note: each test takes 8 minutes...
Just did that test

Details:

* Your ISP appears to rate limit your HTTP downloads. In our tests, downloads using control flows achieved up to 1941 Kbps while downloads using HTTP achieved up to 916 Kbps.

* The measurement data is too noisy to detect whether your ISP rate limits traffic on port 60745. Re-running the test while ensuring that no other downloads or uploads are running in the background might fix this problem.

I have a problem with this test I am downloading currently at 300KB/s because I am syncing at 2847 kbps

Could you post a trace to an international site (that isn't on a CDN). Something like this:

How's it going @Grubscrew with this? Still very good? No blatant/ridiculous shaping? Thanks.

Still going the same. Full speed after hours, during business hours it varies between 100KB/s and 200KB/s. Pulled 120 gb this month sofar

Sorry for all the questions but how does HTTP perform during the day? I.e youtube and things like that? Is that also shaped?
Thanks a lot.
