Hi.

I underwent highly invasive brain surgery a few years ago. In the process, I lost the motor functions in my left hand. Pressing any key on the keyboard is no longer an option. I stopped playing games for a long time. But recently I got back into the seat. So I have reverted to playing mouse-based games, likes RPG's and MOBA's. But it is still a mission. There are always hot keys to quickly swallow a potion and so forth. I do manage to bind one or two of my mouse's extra buttons, but the buttons are close to each other, and I am just not used to press buttons on the side of the mouse. I have looked around a bit. Most of the mouses have basically the same button layout.

Does anything come to mind that I can try?

I mean, just do a bit of research and you can find alternatives, i.e:

4.9 from 27 reviews seems like a worthwhile shot at the current price..

Yes, I have looked at those in the past. It does seem that their application leans towards the left hand.

Have a look at that Reddragon that @WAslayer linked.

I got a similar one(The M908) for a friend earlier this year, he has been using it for 4 months and so far haven't hear any complaints.

Thank you - this looks very interesting. It's kind of nice to know that some companies do have "disabled" people in mind. Hopefully some more energy and development goes into that, but I guess there is not really a big market for that.

Buy yourself a Razer gaming mouse, download the synapse software and remap the buttons.

My older brother suffered a stroke a few years ago and only can use his right hand, so using the mappable mouse and its features worked like a charm.

Will OP go for

A) The Quadstick
B) The Bum Controller
