I was lucky - my sister went for holiday in the US and picked it up for about 630dollars. Worked out to about R4600 - 16G Wi-fi with 3G... Seeing the prices here - I should have asked to get more

You clearly don't explain that that price was quoted on a unit that was on hand. If you don't like our pricing and are not willing to wait, please try go find it elsewhere then and show me a better price on a unit you can pick up now. But please, do not try and tarnish the reputation of our company because our prices do not match your idea of what you want to pay for an iPad.

I actually had to go back and read your post a second time, I am shocked that you would reply to a customer on a public forum like that! I would love to see how you respond to an actual query when it come to warrantee or such... Please take a guess where I will not be buying an ipad2. Even if you are the cheapest, your attitude has just destroyed any chance of me supporting you ever!

Just Bought 64 gig 3g ipad2 on ebay including postage R6600 I will have to pay around R800 on duty but
still feel this is a bargain compared to other SA prices from eXpansys etc,
Now have 3 ipads 2 from the 1st generation 64 gig one is 3g, the other Wi-fi, all bought through ebay.
Have both jailbroken and working with DSTV Drifta.

NB if you have an ipad buy the Otterbox defender good protection new one for ipad2 still in development stage.

i think you worded that last part wrong

so how highly inflated is the price exactly?

Just to let you guys know, i have just got my ipad 2 from Saapple. Paid the man and he left, with the additional help he offered to setup my ipad. Yea i do agree to point where he should not have done that, but he did appologise. Anyway just my 2 cents is that i did get good service from them.
