Hey, my linksys which has been running dd-wrt flawlessly for the last couple of weeks has suddenly lost power.

I used to be able to pick it up 30m away no problem, but now I seem to lose the signal 10m away.

Any ideas what can be causing this, or how I can fix it?

Thanks,

Patrick

Yes, it was on the standard 28, I upped this to 70 (it has a max of 280 odd i think) when I first installed it... What can that do?

Max is 251mw but if you only changed it to 70 that couldent have damaged it.

Look in the ss-wrt forums im sure i saw something their about ppls complaining about lower levels in a newer release, but if you havent upgraded this cant be whats wrong.

Ok I got it back... Basically I did a hard reset (the 30 second one) and re-set up the network and it's back to normal strength.

No idea what happened though.

Thanks
