I received my Lumia 920 on Thursday started unpacking and setting up the device, having done so I am extremely impressed by this device. Before going further I need to explain my device setup details namely.
Disabled
(a)Wifi, Bluetooth and NFC (Tap & Share).
(b)Uninstalled applications that have the ability to run as background tasks like Nokia Music, Bloomberg, The Weather Channel and News 24 as I do not need these as there are websites that do this without running in the background.
Setup
(a)Setup Microsoft Account (Windows Live ID) email to sync every 30min
(b)Add another pop3 email to sync every 30min.
Extra installed Applications
(a)Adobe Reader.
(b)Skydrive.
(c)GPS Info.
Pro
(a)Feel of quality without lots of plastic.
(b)Being able to sync with my PC without Zune (Hope 7.8 update will provide this for WP7.5).
(c)My PC ability to use this device as USB storage (Drag and Drop).
(d)The smooth UI and speed of the device.
(e)The smooth integration into daily private and business use.
(f)The battery life of 1 day 20 hours.
(g)The ability to customise the device to suite your needs.
(h)The brilliant Windows Phone 8 OS by far the best over the competitors in my view.
