My media player doesnt read my hdd

Hi

I have a Isonic a3hd media player with an internal 2.5" seagate 500gb drive. Problem is the media player doesnt pick up the hdd. When I plug it into a pc it works fine but not when trying to play something on the TV. I've tried both ntfs and ex fat formats. The player does support both and says it supports a drive up to 2tb. Is there anything im doing wrong. Picks up flash drives fine. Even tried removing the drive and connecting via usb.

Have you tried FAT/FAT32?

I had almost the same problem, don't know why, but splitting the drive into 2 partitions did the trick for me.

Scan for errors and fix them with CHKDSK /F
that may do the trick.
