About My Minutes:
My Minutes allows selected Contract customers to purchase additional minutes without having to change their Contract package.
My Minutes are available as once-off bundle purchases (valid for 30 days) or on a monthly recurring basis.
My Minutes can be used for Vodacom-to-Vodacom calls only, any time of the day.
My Minutes bundle options and costs:
My Minutes 50 50 R 62.50 R1.25
My Minutes 100 100 R 120 R1.20
How customers can get it:
• Trade Partners can activate My Minutes bundles in store.
OR
• Vodacom’s dedicated Contact Centre on 111, free from a Vodacom cellphone, or 082 111 from any other phone to request the service.
The cost of the customer’s My Minutes bundle will be added to their next Vodacom Bill.
How customers can view their My Minutes balance:
• Customers can view their balance by dialling *111#, select Option 1: Balance Enquiry and then Option 7: My Minutes.
Who can purchase My Minutes bundles?
My Minutes bundles are available on the following packages:
• Blackberry Talk 100, 240, & 500;
• iPhone 120, 240, & 500;
• Smart Talk 120 & 500;
• Talk 120,130, 200, 240, 350, 500, & 1000.
More about My Minutes bundles:
• A customer can purchase any My Minutes bundle as they are aligned to the unitization of the customer’s tariff plan (per second or per minute).
• A Contract customer will be allowed to purchase multiple once-off bundles in a 30 day period.
• My Minutes bundles are available for 30 days from date of purchase. For example if you purchase a My Minutes bundle on 20 November it will be valid until 19 December, thereafter all unused minutes will expire.
• With the My Minutes monthly recurring purchase, a customer’s minutes will be pro-rated, which means that if they buy a My Minutes 50 Bundle during the month they will get a proportioned number of minutes and the full 50 minutes allocation from the 1st of the following month.
• If a customer has a My Minutes monthly recurring bundle and receives their Contract minutes on the 1st of the month, all calls to the Vodacom family will first be deducted from their My Minutes bundle, until it is depleted or expired. All other calls will be deducted from their existing Contract minutes.
• Once the bundle has been depleted, the customer will be billed in accordance with the rules governing out-of-bundle rates associated with the customer’s tariff plan.
• No airtime transfer of My Minutes is allowed.
• A Contract customer who is soft-locked will not be able to purchase a My Minutes bundle.
• The following call types will be used from My Minutes bundles:
Anytime national Vodacom-to-Vodacom voice calls
Anytime national Vodacom-to-Vodacom video calls, or
Call back
• The following call types will be EXCLUDED from the use of the My Minutes bundles:
Call sponsor.
Collect call.
SVS.
Directory enquires.
Message forwarding.
Fax Outdial.
All service calls i.e. General Service calls, VAS numbers, Premium rated services etc.
All roaming usage
