"My number" missing

Hi,

Blackberry Bold 9700 :

When I press the green phone button, on top of screen you get " My Number " unknown number.

I've tied the "edit sim number" option, but I get a Denied access to response

Any suggestions

Seen that too. Dunno exactly what it means though, cos when I phone people they see my number as normal.

This is just a value that's stored on the SIM card. It doesn't affect anything like what number shows on your caller ID. Most cards allow you to edit the value - though it can be read-only, never come across one though.

- What network are you on? (all my Vodacom cards have allowed me to change this value, including my current 64k)
- What SIM card are you using? (16/32/64k?)
- Also, are you on BES? Although unlikely, changing this value may be restricted by your corp.

Try putting your SIM in another phone and changing the value from there. Most phones have this value buried somewhere in the menus.
