Recently the graphics card in my pc decided to break so I got someone to install a new one for me ( since I know next to nothing about computers ) so he installed it and downloaded the drivers but a while after that everything went haywire the computer wouldn't play any thing that has anything to do with videos. So I tried to update the driver and that went fine until I rebooted the computer after it booted it was incredibly slow, to the point where even moving the mouse took a long time, so I started the computer in safe mode and all was fine, but the only thing a can do to get it to run at normal speed without being on safe mode is recover, and reset to a earlier date but this deleted the driver and the problem starts again, and again... I'm not very good with computers so please no highly techncal answers, thanks in advance.

Some more data needed please. What operating system are you using? Windows 7, Vista, XP? What make and model of graphics card? What driver version, it will be in the name of the driver file you downloaded, are you using? What CPU, right-click My Computer, select properties and read off the window that appears.

Its windows 7 32 bit operating system its a zotac nvidia geforce 210 graphics card and bec I have to recover my computer it deletes the driver so it just says vga, what ever that is...

The problem of playing video could be codex related. Try get codex library for example http://www.windows7codecs.com/

Remove all graphics driver and reinstall.

Will try to download codecs and unisnstall driver when I recover it again since I tried download the new driver last night, so will try that all later, thank you will report the results!

How much did the guy charge you for the graphics card, and for labor?

Also uninstall the drivers by removing any Nvidia and AMD/ATI listed programs from the Programs and Features list.

After you have done the above restart your computer, then install the following driver: http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windo...top-win8-win7-winvista-32bit-english-whql.exe

Then restart your computer again, report if you have any more issues.

Since I really don't want to mess with the computer to much I think I'll just get the guy that put the graphics card in to fix the computer, I just don't want to risk messing it up even morthan it is...

Download driver sweeper, it will check all drivers and remove ones that you select. Also that card is rather old you'd have to look for old Nvidia drivers for this to work.

I've searched through all the software on the computer and can't find a single nvidia or adm/ati driver
