My phone does not ring for caller

I'm with MTN. When I receive a call, it rings on my side, however the caller hears nothing - no ringing. How do I fix this issue?

Lots of us on MTN experience that lately.

Make a call, you hear no ringtone and then the person you called answers.

No-one knows.

any number? or just people from vodacom/Landlines?

could call customer care and ask them to reset your SIM or do a sim swap to another MTN sim,
might have an older SIM card that does not work properly anymore.

All our work phones on mtn business do this.
Very strange and we don't know why.

My MTN phone gives an engaged signal to the caller and does not ring on my side. Only after the 2nd or 3rd try does the call go through been doing this for the last few days now.

Similar problem. When i make a call , i don't always here the receiving parties phone ringing.

Same here, had to go to Mtn service center and the guy logged the issue, was resolved the next day.
