I'm using Afrihost (512kb uncapped package) with Cybersmart 512kb line rental, how pathetic are these results:
A local bandwidth test:
Download speed: 0.22 Mbps
Upload speed: 0.43 Mbps
Ping: 78ms
An international bandwidth test:
Download speed: 0.14 Mbps
Upload speed: 0.34 Mbps
Ping: 292ms
I don't know who to be angry with. Afrihost have really started to suck lately, all downloads have suddenly slowed down over the last 2 weeks and now my download speeds have reached an all-time slow. In addition they haven't bumped me up to the 1MB line for free unlike Mweb. I guess the telkom-greed has finally reached our local Service-Providers. Sad day for me
