It's less than a month old!

I received a call and when I ended it the screen was shaking and was magnified!

I then swithed it off and it never came back on again...

I did everything, removed the battery and the sim etc... I did a soft reset and even attempted a hard reset but the screen is gone!

I hear the sounds when I press the buttons but it cant receive calls or do anything!

Help!!! Did this happen to anyone of you?

Try hard reseting your device

Hard reset: Press and hold the Left SOFT KEY and Right SOFT KEY, and at the same time, use the stylus to press the RESET button at the bottom of your device. You will be presented with a menu saying 'press R to reset, X to exit', if you press R Your device will be set back to factory default settings.
(The L/R soft keys are the "--" keys just up the start and OK buttons)

I did try a hard reset but the screen was dead so I couldn't see anything!

The good news hoewever is that it came back to life yesterday afternoon...

Don't ask me how or what... I don't know what happened...

Maybe some memory thingie discharged and then all was well again???

Man! I really wanted a TyTN, until I read this thread.

2 of you have had problems and that makes me scared. I guess I'll just stick to the bigger brands...

The TYTN is a great device when it works. My GF took mine in for repairs today, apparrently it will take about 4 to 5 weeks to get repaired  . If I could go back in time would I still get it? Well if I get it back and it doesn't break in the next 2 years then I would have to say yes, for shure.

WTF? Another one? That's 3 people in one thread.

Ok, I'm NOT getting one!

Sorry that I only reply now...

My Tytn came back to life later the same day!!!

I just tried it and it worked and it's now better than ever!!!

The screen now properly refreshes when you open and close the keyboard... It sometimes got stuck in a horizontal position and you had to press a button to get it to realise it's closed... not anymore!!!!

I don't know what happenned but it sorted itself out quite nicely!!!

@Ettienne! - So it's only Spark having trouble now!!! Get yourself a Tytn!!! It is avery good phone and it's sommer my GPS also!!! I bought the Handymap AI Gold and it works like a bomb!!!!

@Spark - what went wrong with your Tytn...?

I dunno jhart, I woke up in the morning to switch my alarm off and the camera switched itself on when I cancelled the alarm. I noticed these green and pink bars all over the screen, especially when I moved the phone around. Weird I know but two weeks later and one hard reset it was still there. I just hope Leaf don't scratch my baby...
