What DB board did you use here? Busy building a new place and want to start off with the right one from the go.

I added another 5 x Pylontech UP5000 batteries over the weekend. I now realize that I need more solar to charge this massive battery bank as well as coping with the existing load.

Currently on a sunny day my batteries only charge to around 85%. I never see 100%, so it looks like I will have to add more panels and a controller.

Sjoe that's a lot of batteries.

Please share graphs and latest picture of your installation, on your previous pictures your installation looked very nice.

With the 28 panels the 2 x Victron SmartSolar MPPT RS controllers are now throttling my PV, my graph flatlines at 10KW.




I'm planning to add another 8 panels to cater for the extra batteries I installed, So I will need another controller as well.

Same problem I have. Usually get to 100% on a good day, but it's touch and go when the geyser runs for the full time slot and the helper is doing washing and ironing etc. Need more panels...

Yes, figured 8 x 550W panels on the garage ought to do it.

And those are pretty big MPPT's already, nice with the Victron kit that you just pop another one in.

Yes, luckily everything is modular. I can put in a MPPT 250/70 and plug it into the CAN network and the system takes care of the rest.
