Sorry thats a little incorrect, you must have access to IRC (the ports 6667-7000) in order to use the java app. It is mearly an easier way to access the server then to have to download an irc client such as mirc.

no thats the name of the irc server, the two web interfaces are as followes:

CGI based (for firewalled clients) USA Server: http://www.ircd.co.za
JAVA based (for non-firewalled) RSA Server: http://chat.prohosting.co.za/index-adsl.php

These will both connect you to the actual server (RSA server) irc.ac.za.

Clear now?
