We pay R36 here for really big ass cinemas (Monte :D)
But I get 4 free tickets a day from Monte anyways so :P

At home from rentals, downloads or TV when they arrive.

I cannot go to a cinema.
1. I hate being butt raped for cold stale popcorn and coldrink.
2. I will end up killing some **** because of talking, cellphones and general bad manners.
3. The sound in cinemas is ***, they need to learn how to operate a equiliser.

I don't get the big screen experience at home but it's much better for me.

Watched it yes! Yep very hectic! Sexual abuse is always a sensitive issue.
If you liked that you should watch Hounddog and Girl Next Door also Gardens In The Night.
 
yeah ponder i agree.last movie i was in Transformers - some guy blatantly picks up his cellphone and starts freaking blabbering away that hes watching a movie.the guy was huge....its days like that where i just wish i was a huge steroid raged beast who would tell the guy to stfu or get out.how can some ppl have no form of manners?
But i only watch Blockbusters these days.alot of ppl are ranting about G.i Joe but i bet il be dissapointed.i seriously cant remember the last time i REALLY enjoyed a movie? Transformers 1 still kicks serious ass - i never really enjoyed Ironman as much as others?
Batman was excellent but i cant see myself going back for a 2nd time.

Ok ppl - give me the best 3 movies youve seen in the last 12 months that you really enjoyed.i need some ideas....

i've been trying to rent it for weeks and it's always out at the Video Shop (the cover makes it look funny) - Got the AVI and watched it..... man, am I glad I didn't pay for that garbage!

to think hundreds of people paid R25 to watch that POS :eek:
 
So a definite on the GI Joe then... cool. I was thinking of going to see it tonight/tomorrow. :D
 
I watched Fired Up on my pc - is it worth it to watch at the movies or not? I liked the movie but haven't really got a great selection here in the backwaters so... anyone?
 
lol what do you mean Smokey? if you seen it already why do you need to watch it at cinema.but i saw it aswell - its a strictly dvd movie.i enjoyed it but its really not necessary to see on big screen

What I mean is - that with the poor selection of movies I have at my disposal - would it be worth watching the film again? For me - comedies are different depending on the people you watch it with. Last time I watched it with my sister in my office on a 15" laptop screen (no speakers, sound was terrible.... laptop speakers are ugly things). Now (it's finally on the big screen... whoopie) I can watch it with other people on a large screen with good sound and popcorn to boot (once I am finished with the other two movies I wanna watch - which will be on for another 2 weeks at least... same as Fired Up). I was just throwing the question out there because I was bored and wanted to increase my post count. So MEH!
