i never got to watch this... i heard it sucked big time. got a copy at home will watch it when i'm not being held hostage by my ps3
 
With Halloween coming up, I decided I would watch a screener of Paranormal Activity upon a recommendation. I had no idea what it was about, hadn't seen a trailer, went in blind. Only thing I deduced from it's title is it was probably a horror movie.

Oh yes, it is a horror/psychological thriller. I can honestly say, it is probably one of the most frightening psychologically draining films I have seen. With an obvious similarilty to the Blair Witch project, you pray for sunlight and dread the infamous "camera in bed room" scenes.

If you looking for a refreshing thriller, this is it.

P.S. Don't watch alone.

I watched it with three different groups of people at the movies. I downloaded it when it went off screen and bought it as soon as it was released on DVD. My fave movie of the year definitely.
 
I dunno, most peopl didn't like Terminator Salvation it but I thoroughly enjoyed and thought it was better than Transformers 2. One of my favs for the year next Star Trek (2009).

Don't get too excited, it's not that good. Classic case of focusing on style over substance. Bale is stiffer than I've ever seen him (please, no porn jokes), Depp is average, I guess as a result from trying to capture a character's 'silent/awkward behaviour', which doesn't work in what should be a big budget action movie. The only role I liked was the one played by Marion Cotillard (from Edith Piaf)
 
guyz i just checked what showing/coming soon @ ster-kinekor and Twilight surprised me coz i could swear the dvd was realesed earlier on this yr. Whats going on??

DUH there are about 6 books I think. The new release coming soon is called NEW MOON the only reason I know this cause my 14 year old daughter is a huge fan & is bugging me to download a pre release :P
 
Sunday past I finally ventured out to the local cinema to go watch the New Michael Jackson movie THIS IS IT. Now tell me WTF is up with this thing. almost 2 hours of rehearsals I was hoping for more than just watching him rehearsing for the upcoming concert.

I use to be a Huge MJ fan but after all the controversy I slowly backed off still loved the mans music but yeah that is it.

I was in a pub off my skull when the announcement came that he died. Some people were visibly upset. WTF it's not as if he was a personal friend but yes some people make too much of celebs.

Okay but i mean what is the norm with Titles. Is it Book-DVD-Big screen / Book-Big Sreen -DVD. i mean case in point is Lord Of the Rings (The previous not the latter)

I Watched this over the weekend and damn this was the scariest movie Ive seen in a very long time ,the way they made this movie is freaking brilliant you are so right about the sleeping part ,you just dread going to bead after this movie :D
